Bread and rhubarb crumble

Spread 5 ml of butter on each slice of bread and cut into cubes.

Combine 75 ml of sugar and the cinnamon.

Cut the rhubarb in small pieces.

In a 1 litre greased cake pan, place half of the bread and the sweet mixture.

Repeat with the other half of the ingredients.

Put knobs of butter over this and sprinkle with 5 ml of sugar.

Cover and put in the oven for 10 minutes at 190°C.

Take the lid off and let cook for another 15 minutes.

Yield: 4 servings.

75 ml of sugar

1 ml of cinnamon

500 ml of fresh rhubarb

15 ml of butter

5 ml of sugar
